HYDRANGEA

Hydrangea has been on this planet longer than man, with fossil finds in North America dating back 40 to 65 million years ago. In China and Japan they cultivated Hydrangea's many thousands of years ago , in North America the medicine men used the roots of hydrangea arborescens as a means to drive out kidney stones and to combat bronchitis. Maybe it's history has something to do with our fascination with this magnificent flower.
